When tinting the tintable Raptor kit UP0821 there are a few options.
U-POL has 15 standard colors to choose from. These colors are all solid colors.
The colors include…
White…..Beige…..Blue…..Green…..Yellow…..Light grey…..light brown…..navy blue
Pine green…..orange…..basalt grey…..sepia brown…..light green…..olive green and flame red
The white and black come in 4 bottle kits.
The colors can be seen on the U-POL web site www.U-POL.com under the Raptor section and clicking on Raptor color.
The tint comes in single pack boxes so 4 boxes must be ordered for a 4 bottle kit.
The other option is to go to an automotive paint supply store. There you can give them a specific paint code or even pick out a certain color by using a chip book. The choices are endless. When having the automotive paint store mix a color tint for a Raptor kit you must make sure they do the following.
Mix 100ml of tint for each bottle of Raptor. This will be 1 pint of color for every 4 bottle kit of Raptor.
Have them mix toner only and not to add and binder or basemaker. Those will weaken the color.
The toners that must be used are urethane or polyester based. Never use waterborne toners.
